Licensed Clinical Social Worker on Staff

At Lafayette Pediatrics and Internal Medicine your health and well being is our number one priority.  We believe in the complete overall health of our patients. Therefore, we have a Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Professional Counselor on our staff to integrate mental healthcare into our primary care setting.

Kelly Berry, LCSW, is currently working in our office on Tuesday through Friday and has appointment times available for in person or video sessions.

Kelly is here to offer a variety of services:

  • 50 minute therapy sessions in a relaxed and private setting – to include individual therapy, couples therapy and family counseling. Services will be provided at $80.00 for 50 minute sessions for cash pay patients.  A sliding scale is available for those individuals who meet federal guidelines and we take several insurances (please inquire)
  • Case management – supplying resources outside of the office to aid with medical, behavioral health, and life issues.
  • Advocacy – added support to make sure needs are getting met with schools, agencies, organizations, etc.
  • EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, an innovative and well validated approach to treating trauma

Licensed Professional Counselor

Jonathan Scheppegrell, LPCC is a licensed professional counselor candidate and works with children and young adults ages 4-21 using multiple forms of counseling. He is available Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. He works with children and families through play therapy, cognitive behavioral approaches and other modalities of therapy.
